Temple Real Estate
Temple is located in what is known as the Central Texas region. Temple real estate is part of Bell County, Texas and is located near the county seat of Belton. It has an approximate population of 60,000 and lies directly off of Interstate 35. It lies 35 miles south of Waco and 65 miles north of Austin.
Temple was founded in 1881 as a railroad town and was named after Bernard Moore Temple, a former surveyor and civil engineer with the Gulf Colorado and Sante Fe Railway Company. The hospital for the Sante Fe Railway Company employees was a part of Temple real estate for many years. This helped establish Temple’s strength as a regional medical center, which is now home to the highly respected and well known Scott and White Memorial Hospital. It is the largest hospital in the area and houses around 10,000 employees. The Temple community has more physicians per capita than anywhere else in the nation. Temple is also home to the company headquarters and regional distribution centers of two large multi-national companies, McLane Company and Wilsonart International.
The Temple Daily Telegram is the daily newspaper that residents of Temple real estate enjoy. It is called the “Wildflower Capital of Texas” and is a “principal city’ in the Killeen-Temple-Fort Hood Metro Statistical area. Nearby family attractions include Cameron Park zoo and a number of museums.
Belton Real Estate
Among the rivers, lakes, rolling plains, and wooded hills of the heart of Texas lies the city of Belton. It was founded in 1850 and is part of the famous Chisholm Trail. Known for its Old West background and rich history, Belton real estate includes more than 160 historical markers. It is located in the region known as Central Texas at the crossroads of I-35 and Hwy 190.
Belton is known to be part of the 2nd fastest growing Texas MSA region due to the major economic influences of the agricultural, service, manufacturing, medical services, government, and military sectors. Job growth in this area is expected to increase by 21 percent between 2003 and 2013.
